A good safe technician can open your safe in an hour or two by drilling or a number of other techniques. The information that they use for reference occasionaly ends up on e bay. Is your safe vunerable?

Burglar resistant safes are made to slow a burglars progress to the point that alarm devices or a watchmans tour will detect the instrusion and summon the police before the contents are stolen. Sometimes you are not protecting your secrets from burglars. Sometimes you are in fear of your wife calling in a safe technician to pop your safe in contemplation of a divorce process. Sometimes you want your safe to prevent a law enforcement agency from opening it while you have a few extra hours to get their search warrant overturned.

The weakness.

Most safe locks are mounted directly under the keypad or dial. There are generaly 4 different mounting orientations. Good safes slowdown drilling by mounting the lock behind a sheet of hard to penetrate barrier material. Other devices like a spring loaded relocker can trigger on certain attacks. Trouble is a professional safe technician has references that tell him the orientation, locations of relockers, and how to defeat the standard security systems that are built into the safe. Our modifications can make that published information useless!

We can modify your safe so that the safe lock is remotely mounted. The first place a technician drills will be an air hole! A safe technician carries thousands of dollars worth of borescopes. They look in the air hole and look for the relocated lock. To bad! Our system breaks up the vision area in the safe in small squares that make a technician drill tens if not hundreds of holes before they find the lock's new orientation. No, we can not prevent the safe from being opened, eventualy. We can make it take a bit longer than normal for a great technician, and send the average locksmith or beginning safe technician home pulling his hair out.

Our system does not prevent all opening techniques from working but in general the only ones that will suceed are the attacks that will trash the safe. To open it they will need to tear the safe up. It will be a heck of a job.

If you are interested call me and I can bid your job. The work is expensive, only reasonable to do on TL15 and TL30 UL rated safes and above. Available in a limited area of St Louis and only in commercial locations.
